EVENT #8 - Carlisle Classic in Clearwater Beach

This annual event is held at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center located on beautiful Sand Key Beach. The regatta will feature racing on the Gulf of Mexico and on Clearwater Bay. Expected Classes on the Gulf:

I-20. F-18, Open Portsmouth Low, H16, H14T, Wave and Open “B.” On the Bay: Daysailers, Sunfish, Opti’s, Access Dinghies and Open Portsmouth. Any class with 5 boats registered will constitute a fleet.

The Center has a great sandy beach for launching next to Clearwater pass. The clubhouse has hot showers and a gated, fenced in area to secure boat trailers at night. Clearwater Beach has plenty for the whole family to do while racing is underway. There is Trolley service to the many points of interest.

We changed the date on the Carlisle to November 18/19 due to 1800 Triathalon people coming in on our original date. The Saturday night dinner is catered by 4 of the best restaurants in the area! For comedy relief, I will attempt to race! It's a great venue and the wind blows sometimes! Registration fees are changed & we're giving out collared polo shirts.
